I’ve worked on my resignment/termination (it’s really complicated that there are so many english words for ‘Kündigung’ - which one’s right when it’s used to describe job terms?) and only need to proofread it by some people this weekend. Monday is the day where I’ll hand it in. Originally I wanted to wait until I had my written contract for the new job, but screw it! I’ve had enough.
In more pleasant news, my new laptop arrived today and I’ll start to set it up tomorrow. It’s nothing for games (I got my XSX for that anyway) but a solid office workhorse that’ll help me with handling e-mails, documents and a nursing documentation software that my nursing school will implement by next year. Given that it’s the last biggest investment of this year and that it should support me during important moments of my career, I’m pretty excited about it! Has anyone else had any great deals today?

And thanks, sometimes it’s really complicated to find the right english word. German has lots of long and awkward combination words, but when it comes to simple words, it seems like there are a myriad of english equivalents each for a specific case only.
