For those of you out of the loop, Reddit admins took it upon themselves to remove a meme about Orca’s attacking yachts. source
Not even that…literally a screenshot of an article by The Atlantic saying the orcas are bad for attacking boats and then underneath it a scene from The Office with the caption altered to say “You know what? Now I’m going to root for the orcas even harder.” source
It really feels like Elon Musk said WOLOLO to spez and took control of his mind.
Is it sad that I wouldn’t be surprised if Spez suddenly rolls back reddit’s restrictions on hate speech, taking after Musk to pander to the alt right? Given that spez has already expressed admiraton for Musk, and seems to have alt right leanings, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Why is this in Technology and not someplace like /c/reddit or something? I don’t subscribe here for the latest reddit drama.
