I’m very excited for this game but the scale and density of the open world is what’s going to make or break this game in my opinion. The slice we saw is promising and definitely got me hyped but I’m hoping it’s not going to yet another checklist infested map. Jedi survivor did really well with its open areas (i hope a sequel sticks to that balance and doesn’t “arkham city” it and make everything open world to be honest).

The combat gave me big Uncharted vibes and I’m excited to see what the controls for the space flight stuff will be like. Sort of hoping it’s deep enough to allow the use of flight sticks.

I’m also super excited it’s not yet another Jedi game, i want to see more of the universe beyond the Jedi which this game is promising. Also low key hoping we see some crime boss maul since I think it’s that timeline and the main character is dealing with that side of the universe too. Maybe we’ll see his eventual downfall into exile?

This game takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, so unfortunately Maul is long dead, since Obi-Wan killed him before A New Hope.

Ah dang, still excited nonetheless. I couldn’t quite tell when during the Imperial era it was from the trailer so maul was just wishful thinking.

Yeah, I think it was mentioned in an interview I read somewhere. Still looks like an amazing game as long as it lives up to the trailer

Yeah I’m really excited to see more non-Jedi stories in Star Wars. I’m hopeful that Andor created a moment where there’s space for people to explore more of the universe beyond the Jedi.
