    Where does accountability fall for AI? Can companies just wave off terrible decisions as “oh that darn AI always goofing up!”

      Both google and Microsoft have **said ** that they will take full responsibility if there ai is found to breach copyright

      Thats not the same as racism and harm, ai ending copyright is a huge fear for big-tech so of course thats the system they defend but it does set the door open for other responsibilities.

      Best case their promise is made into law and expands on it.

      There is their first problem. Why in the hell would you train anything that needs to be medically accurate on musings from the internet?

    If every time you hear a for-profit “health provider” talk about improving care, just mentally substitute make more money, and you realize they are absolutely speaking the truth.
