        Yes, it is still an experiment for me. I like the talc finish. The fragrances are very subtle, and I’m not certain that having a variety is worth it.

    Good shave. New product today is definitely different than my normal. I’ll be a bit reserved it’s not terrible and I believe it could grow on me. The scent is very earthy but I’m having trouble picking it apart.

    I finally stopped worrying about, and learned to love, alliterations. The Star provides a very close and comfortable shave, and the blade is still in good shape.

    Micromatic 4/7: Carpathian Witchcrafts

    • Lather: Southern Witchcrafts Carpathia
    • Aftershave: House of Mammoth/Noble Otter/Declaration Grooming Cerberus Fougère
    • Fragrance: Terre d’Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver

    Nice shave with the Peerless variant of the Clog-Pruf. This second generation has completed 75% of the metamorphosis from the (OC[MM)OC]'s open comb to the Flying Wing/Bullet Tip’s toothless safety bar, and it shaves very much like a gen 1 Clog-Pruf.

    The scent combo today is a bit of a lucky find because I didn’t think of those fragrances as related, but the woody notes in Carpathia and Cerberus Fougère make a nice bridge from the warm tea to the green, and Eau Intense Vétiver just fits in.

      Another very interesting curation. If the scent isn’t too citrus or gourmand, I think EIV just always works.
