Yeah. When they first showed up in my garden they were only like four, and then every year it seemed like they were getting two more, i started to worry that it’s going to end up in a big group, but it seems like this group is not getting bigger than ten birds. I still can enjoy the noise of a small group like that.

My parents kept these things as pets when I was a kid. Those ones were awful. Screeching bloody murder day and night. They’d bite if you tried to handle them. And they didn’t sing, they just shrieked like goddamn banshees. Just awful creatures.

They are pleasantly colorful, though, from far enough away.

lol ya i’m quite happy that they’re living in the garden, not in my kitchen.

Somebody on my block used to have a grey parrot, oh my god it was so loud, it was imitating the other birds around. Took me a few days to figure out who actually made these sounds, i first thought it was just some neighbour being funny.

Yeah i love having them around. And i’m glad that it’s no more then like ten of them in my garden, there are some spots in the city where there’s a ton of them and they make a lot of noise, haha. In autumn they’re sitting in this tree non stop snacking all the seeds for about a week or two, that is always a good time.
