It’s not how it used to be that’s for sure. However, there was a T20 on BBC2 last night which turned out to be a great game, and the ashes has been weird but exciting to watch (let’s quietly not talk about the hundred shall we). The long overdue ICEC report has hopefully finally got it into the thick heads of various execs at the ECB, and local communities across the country, that the way the game in this country is run has to change. I’m hopeful of positive change in the next few years and I hope the game will become more accessible.

T20 yesterday was fantastic, couldn’t believe how close England ran the Aussies in the end.

And the Ashes are crazy this year! I’m going to the Old Trafford match, day 2, so hoping England avoid defeat at Headingly so there’s still something to play for in Manchester.

Great game, and I’m glad it was on free to air at last. Old Trafford will be fantastic, might well be Jimmy’s last test there so make the most of it!

Sure will. I’ve seen quite a few ODIs there, and worked at the 2019 World Cup, so so lats of them. Never seen a full 5 day men’s Test match though, can’t wait!
