6·1 month agoIts like when I randomly think “I could really do with a corneto”, " I could do with a smoke". “I could do with a shag”. Its an implosive thought and like others it doesn’t serve much beyond enjoyment.

My life began at the end of history.
I would call my brother a geek, a collector of shit, expensive cards, moulded plastics, I love him for it but I see it as vapid. Whereas I am a nerd, I research and act with caution when it comes to spending, I own a mechanical watch which I can repair myself, I buy leather shoes with soles that can be replaced at a cobblers, run Linux on my desktop, custom ROM on my phone.
Geeks are nerds who enjoy gimmicky things, nerds are geeks seeking purpose.

for me its the dpi up button that some times sticks, scroll is fine though. ICue sucks, luckily Linux has ckb-next

Love tilling compositors, Swayfx then moved to Niri for a scrolling compositor.
Makes it great for games like Arma 3 😍 and 3D cad.
As said already, I also don’t recognised the dial. There’s also the finish, the case is rough in parts. The crown on the left does nothing (disconnected from the movement).
When buying a high end watch, always ask to see the movement. If they say “removing the case back will damage the watch (water resistance)” they are lying.
