You sound like my old co worker. It’s hilarious once you realize they aren’t shit at doing shit.

I’m the worst about this. My mom and I will try a new restaurant and I’ll be talking about “oh this needs acid, that’s the perfect amount of heat, blah blah.” Meanwhile, I’m over here “cooking” noodles with a pile of kimchi every other day because that’s all I ever have in the fridge.

Same. We find restaurants a challenge because at home I make everthing from scratch, including sauces, and it is way above par…but also this week the fridge was low so i had a coffee and a large spoon of those fried dried onions for breakfast

Oh I’m the opposite - I’m not a very good cook because I don’t enjoy doing it. I’m pretty good with flavors because I’m not afraid of seasonings, but my knife skills are bordering on Worst Cook in America levels. The abuse I have wrought upon poor, innocent, delicious onions is a crime.

Also, if you like the fried onions, have you seen the jalapeno version? So good. I’ve started putting them on everything.

I read the title as Master Chief at first and thought this was some elaborate joke. Now I know I’m just dumb

One time we saw this weener slinger in a parking lot that basically had a drive-thru operation going and we got intrigued but wernt hungry at the time.

So we went out looking for him again on another day and found him somewhere else and got ready for some dinner glizzies, but he was charging $14!

We had come all this way so we had to still get them and they were very good with a side of fries and a canned drink but no matter what $14 for a hot dog is just not right

But it is 14 for hotdog, fries and drink. sounds pretty much like any fastfood pricing tbh

We went to this new local spot that opened up on the corner by our house and it’s pretty solid. So my bro in law took some of his friends when they came to visit and just destroyed the place. They knew too much about the food and even noticed the panko crusted shrimp appetizer was just the frozen one you can get at Costco. Haven’t been back since just because of my world being shattered

Wait so you’re telling me the “jelly” in a PB&J is grape and not as I have assumed for all my life strawberry or raspberry?
