That isn’t my department. The DBAs have been planning on this migration for a few months now. I will be doing post migration validation and troubleshooting. Since this is a large company and huge migration we have about 200 people on call for this migration.
eh not really. work from home most days, so it isn’t like I am stuck in an office. When I was stuck in an office 5 days a week, a 7-10 day shift really sucked. At least now I can get up an do stuff around the house while we have down time. Since I am not needed for all of the deployment I am able to get out of the house just need to be able to get home within 20 min. So that makes this extremely bearable.
Server and database migrations this weekend. So I don’t really get a weekend this week but at least I get a 4 day weekend next weekend from comp time
