No one’s going to want to anyways as they (Rs) are destroying our entire education system to create even more gullible idiots to believe their lies
Anyone else on Rednote?
The Chinese citizenry at least is far more eloquent and seemingly educated than Americans are. Our higher Ed is going the way of the utter ruins of our K-12. They speak their second language more fluently on average than the lower half of our country speaks its first language. And the social empathy? Holy shit they’re practically Canadian. It’s almost a shock to the system as an American living in this encouraged sociopathic cesspool of glorified hyperindividualism 🤮 where we work against one another to try to get moar oligarch scraps for ourselves.
It’s US President Putin’s goal I’m sure, but all this does is make the US less relevant. I’m all for that to be honest, so long as they continue to stand for the wellbeing of their people, I’m rooting for Europe. We should lose our global influence. The planet is dying(as a habitat for humanity, it’ll be fine once we’ve finished our capitalist made climate suicide), our people are miserable, and we’ve been exporting that hypercapitalist misery for decades using our hard and soft power using that global influence. No one in the world should be doting on us. We’re hostile to a future for humanity, our geopolitical interests start and end with our oligarch’s short term ego scores.
Haha. Too late. If that was a concern they should have done it 30 years ago.
All they’re going to do now is shut down a huge source of higher education income (as international tuition is significantly higher at most institutions). Simultaneously while removing all federal funding and support, seems very convenient to trigger a wholesale collapse of the university system.
University system needs to guy their excessive administration bloat, anyway.
HAHAHAHAHA, having dealt with such university admins for way too fucking long, you’re a real jokester if you believe that administrative costs are going to be the first to get cut at universities.

most of the college population in the US seems to be Chinese nationals.
What a stupid thing to say. It’s under 2%, not even close to “most”.
Same reason that comes up, time and time again. Money.
It hurts education and foreigners, so a double whammy from their point of view. However if I were a foreigner I wouldn’t want to come to study anyways.
