Several months back I was able to take home an APC high voltage smart ups (SMX3000RMHV2U) from work that they were getting rid of. I was planning on incorporating into my lab once I got a rack, which I was able to get a few weeks back for my r720, brocade switch and a few optiplexes.

Now for reasons beyond me its only now dawning on me that I may need a step down given all the outlets are for 208-240v and I assume will overvolt all my equipment over time. As far as I can tell theres no settings to step it down to 110/120v. I may just have a free piece that I cant use, but I wanted to check all the same before I needlessly got an AP9626 or something similar to use it at all.

Can you get a fancy PDU that has both 120 and 208 or 120 and 240?

I’m in a similar situation - I’ve got a 208v 5kva APC unit (sua5000rmt5u, which AFAIK will only run 208, not 240) but want to set it up at home so I think I need to either run 3 phase so I can get 208, which is probably super expensive, buy a transformer for my rack, or bite the bullet and get a 240v UPS.
