I’ve been using Openboard as my keyboard since 2020, and I’m pleased with it. However, I’ve noticed that the latest update was back in August 2022. Does this mean it’s deprecated?
Are there any other simple FOSS Android keyboards that you have experience with and can recommend? I’d love to hear it!

I use FlorisBoard, it’s more customizable than OpenBoard and works pretty well, although there hasn’t been a release in a while (the project is still active though).
Simple keyboard is also an option, although I haven’t used it
Thank you for your feedback! Since FlorisBoard didn’t have recent releases, it kind of felt like I was in the same situation as I am now. But I just read there is a big update upcoming, which is fantastic! Will try FlorisBoard out!
