Hi all. I’ve been having some trouble as of late with myself and my identity and I’m hoping to find someone else who just “gets it”.

Like, I’m a heteroromantic demisexual, and it’s a bit of a pain because even with my friends being as wonderful as they are, it just feels like nobody quite understands where I’m coming from at times.

Like it feels like I’m too straight to be in the LGBT community because I’m heteroromantic, that I’m too queer to be understood by straight peeps, and that I’m too sexually interested to relate with the ace community.

I’d love to chat with people who can relate to my experiences, but finding other people who are demi, whether it be online or in person, just seems to be a pain. Communities I have been able to find tend to be fairly dead, and browsing general LGBT chat groups online tend to have people that are fairly younger than I am, and I’d rather be around people closer to my own age.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions given. I just really need people to connect and relate with on things.
