We use Kaseya for work and it’s decent enough as much as everyone bitches about them. It manages patching and writing and scheduling scripts is a doddle.
I’d like something like that for home but don’t really want to pay for it because it’ll only be 3 machines enrolled, maybe.
TIA
Look into dwserice.net I use it for my 10 machines of various OS
This looks good but does it do patching? That’s the thing I’m mainly after.
Since I am in/out almost daily to all the machines, I just maintain when connected. Some more than others. But the command line with dwservice has proven to be very helpful.
I use it as a free service so not many complaint from me.
Guacamole over reverse proxy of your choice
I use MeshCentral for RMM at home.
taticalrmm which builds on meshcentral to handle the remote access.
Action1 free for 100 endpoints
I use action 1 for this purpose and it is great. It also gives you other capabilities like the ability to install apps and remote support.
I tried Action1 but the limited integration was a major drawback for me.
This is precisely what I was looking for, thank you
u/Ceyax thank you very much for the mention and the recommend.
Our cyber Monday sale allows anyone to convert their whole patch management system for free for as long as their current contract. So yes, still free for ever for the first 100 endpoints (Workstation OR Server) or a great deal to get off other systems to come see what Action1 can do.
Does Action1 support non-windows endpoints? I cant find any documentation about that. Looks like exactly what I wanted as long as it does
I do not think so, perhaps @GeneMoody-Action1 can help
