I am a BRAZILIAN socialist, but DPRK is a totalitarian dictatorship that isn’t truly socialist and have serius problem with starvation and stuff so they aren’t really good at all.
Democratic socialism is nearer to anarcho communism than those far right wingers.
The argument in the source, as I understand it, is that democratic socialism doesn’t firmly oppose fascism with force, so tacitly allows it to develop.
Also you want me to prove I’m Brazilian!? How am I supposed to do that?
Naw, I just thought it was funny to write. You’re welcome to ignore that.
You still haven’t sourced your claims on the DPRK, though.
Please read about the Korean War and the US’s fascist pursuit against Communist/Socialist countries. The US has specific policies about stamping out Communism, with devastating consequences for those countries.
I just watched this documentary by a Korean American where you can find some information about it in the context of Korea. He interviews a South Korean lawyer who specializes in the legal defense on North Koreans, as well as a couple North Korean now living in the south.
You can also watch this video that talks more widely about the red scare and military actions against socialist countries. There are sources in the video description if you are interested.
It’s sad how propagandized Amerikkkans can be. Who taught you to hate strangers as deeply as you do? What has the DPRK done to you?
I hope the resources I have available to share can help you start the process of healing.
Best of luck!

The real socialism is the Democratic Socialism.
Source?
Source?
Democratic Socialism is objectively the moderate wing of fascism

The most important claim I think he made was that north koreans are starving.
Why are they wasting so much money on their military if they can’t feed their population? Who are they even fighting?
Why does Kim’s family still get to live a lavish lifestyle?
All these things make it a shitty place to be, regardless of how it’s governed.
Source?
They are still at war. The U$ occupies half the peninsula.
Who says he is?
Are you trying to argue that North Koreans aren’t starving?
How does the US occupy half the peninsula?
Do you think the Kim family isn’t living a lavish lifestyle?
The U$ military occupies South Korea to block reunification.
I’m not going to prove your arguments for you - that’s your job.
Or are your arguments based more on a vague cloud of propaganda than on fact?
All you need to do is source your claims.

NK would be better off if they didn’t waste so many resources on their nuclear program and ‘important’ families.
Blaming sanctions doesn’t really make sense when NK clearly isn’t trying to solve the problem themselves. They’re trying to hold the world hostage.
The nuclear weapons are the only thing stopping the U$ from murdering 20% of their population and razing 80% of their buildings. Again.
The sanctions are meant to torture the civilians. It’s siege warfare.
End of active Korean war: 1952
NK food stamp baby rattle, I mean, nuclear testing: 2006
No they aren’t. The US isn’t invading North Korea because they have no reason to.
It would just be a mindless slaughter with no real gain.

Please tell me specifically what you think I should know and add sources if you can find them.
Saying “just look it up bro” isn’t conducive to discussion and just tells me you’re not confident in your argument.

The U$ still militarily occupies Korea.
That’s not guaranteed. The U$ did not win the Korean war.
