I like wearing a mask, I don’t get told to smile anymore
Wait no
One guy did tell me to smile more when I had a mask on. I stared at him. Baffled. He seemed to realize he was being stupid and just fucking booked it.
Smiling doesn’t just involve shaping your lips into an upwards arch. Usually your eyes are involved as well. This can be seen even when you’re wearing a mask over your mouth.

Because the comment implied that smiles couldn’t be seen with a mask on.
Maybe not. Maybe it implied how fucking obnoxious it is to comment on other people’s bodies without being asked.
If there’s one thing the pandemic has made clear, it’s that there’s a lot of crazy assholes out there.
