Yes, it’s been there for a while and is widely available now. I want it to improve because it’s the closest thing the Android ecosystem has to Airdrop but it’s not close in terms of speeds.
13? Isn’t nearby share available for almost all Android devices that are running Android 6 and beyond? And no, it’s not available on windows by default, but being default on one device is better than being default on none.
Nearby share’s convenience is that it’s available on all Android phones by default. It’s not that fast, but it is convenient.
I tried it, it’s pretty smooth.
I’m using an s20 FE 5g so no ads. But I feel like I use enough oneUI specific stuff that I’d find it genuinely difficult to switch to another company.
Damn, OneUI is my favourite Android skin lol. I thought that was a pretty popular opinion on the Android side. So many features with good updates is a win-win for me.
I could never do that lol. I barely care enough to talk to people and even I’d feel a little alone/I don’t like inconveniencing people. I do use Telegram for some people, but Signal is just used by nobody I know.
WhatsApp with most people (because that’s what everyone uses), Telegram with the people I talk to a lot (a few college friends and my parents). Insta here and there, but that’s mostly for people to send me reels, I don’t really use the app for anything else. I’ve not used Facebook or the messenger for many years.
Ah
Can’t you just use wefwef on the tablet as well?
They’re asking why Boost is blurred out, not why they prefer Sync over Boost.
Huh, it works just fine for me. I have Samsung galaxy buds 2 pro. I don’t use it with my laptop often, but it’s seamless when I do.
Oooh thanks!
Yeah I’m perfectly ok with waiting a few more, I miss Sync
Niiiice can’t wait. When is it expected to release? Even beta or whatever.
It definitely gets easier as you use it. Now the slides in connect irritate me, because if I overshoot and reach the save one, it saves even if I don’t actually remove my finger and that’s annoying because I have to unsave again.
Not the best take. The apps still need to continue to be developed, adding new features and improvements along the way. That’s the cost of development. Not everything is just the cost of infrastructure. By that logic, McDonald’s workers shouldn’t be paid because it’s not their buns and patties, etc.
