I mean, the same could be said for the larger regional areas of the US surrounding the cities that are experiencing the fastest increase in housing prices. My American Boomer parents view helping my sister and I out with things like this as a legal early inheritance transfer to make up for how long we expect their lives to go on. In that way, this isn’t really different from being able to buy things because you received an actual inheritance after your parents died.

Yeah, it seems pretty apparent that the reason this lawsuit coincides with the GA indictment is because the GA charges are the clearest violation of the 14th Amendment and therefore the strongest argument to make in court. That lawsuit happened so fast that someone clearly had it prepared and was only waiting for the GA indictments. No conspiracy here.

Oh, almost nothing gets pulverized when galaxies collide! Our Milky Way galaxy is currently colliding with a couple of small satellite galaxies. There’s so much empty space between stars that almost none of the stars themselves impact.

It’s more a matter of the gravitational orbits of the stars inside the galaxies changing dramatically. But those changes caused by a galaxy merger take millions of years. Plenty of time for life to adapt.

The biggest danger to life would be the possibility of getting blasted by radiation, if you ended up too close to a supernova or something like that.
