Where can I read in full what the army said? I couldn’t find anything in their official press releases
I mean yes, but one of the issuess with “state of the art av” is they are trying to roll out updates faster than bad actors can push out code to exploit discovered vulnerabilities.
The code/config/software push may have worked on some test systems but MS is always changing things too.
They also watched Trump do his normal stupid shit. I keep hearing “Bidens going to lose” “he is behind” online. But everyone I talk to in person is still voting as anticipated. Swings don’t want to see Trump, Democrats wish there was a better option than Biden but will vote for him and the Republicans will still back Trump.
Biden beat trump once already. And people will vote for Biden. Where is this “nobody will vote for biden” bs coming from?
I would rather not assume someone is just out to troll. I’m sure in a life-threatening circumstance, they could do any of the lines you listed.
But if they don’t have to and could just pay a little more for someone delivering it oh well. Will they pay through the nose for the convenience? Sure. Is it still a lot of money for the convenience? Yes.
Given how active flying squid is I don’t think he is just out here intentionally trolling. I could be wrong.
To OPs defense, i didn’t put 1 and 1 together until you spelled it out either. Wouldn’t have crossed my mind that the smell in an enclosed space would bother you.
Regardless of the rest i hope your daughter enjoyed her treat!
It’s less bs than you think, still unlikely sure, but not a non zero chance.
For awhile their was a single point of failure in telcom for the midwest in the us. Because the core router was so old and didn’t play well with failover. It took them several months and a lot of intermittent issues to get it replaced and working as expected.
Unfortunately you saying that still has the same credibility as your first statement. It’s just your word. I don’t doubt they do on occasion but to say ALWAYS refer to themselves that way is a lot to take on word alone.
Very much this. I dislike M$ as much as the next guy but it isn’t always their fault. The biggest reason we have outdated SQL in my experience is older software that clients do not want to pay for an upgrade for that uses a sql backend that will break if we have the databases in compatibility mode.
Just like M$ with good reason (mostly) end of life’s an OS they need to no longer mainstream support older software versions.
In the response posts to the article someone said they got the icloud address via reset request which you can use in iMessage.
Not an i phone person so i can’t verify but thought id pass that along.
Windows server license and CALs… don’t forget that extra little cost just because from MS
I’ve listened to thousands of hours of audio books and this is my go to player for sure. I tried a couple other ones again recently and ended up coming back to this one. Simple and easy to use. It does have a problem moving books occasionally if they are in the root directory and not a sub folder. I just make sure my books are in sub folders when i get them.
Is the article that your link refrences. Yeah, i mean i agree with it those are not great mold/broken pipes. But it wasn’t meant to be a 5 star resort either. I spent 2 years stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in a barracks that couldn’t be torn down because it was a historical monument because it had bullet holes from ww2. Shit sucked. None of the barracks i lived in had security cameras back in 2010. We had a couple guys in duty that roamed the area. We didn’t have heaters because we were stained in a area that didn’t need them. I don’t know what the current standards are.
My proof is 5 years of service in the military spending every Thursday cleaning for 4-5 hours for field day inspection where the higher ups go through the barracks on Friday to make sure they are clean.
Hmm, what do you mean by this? And any proof/citations? When i was in the Baracks were old but immaculate.
I read it as a way to filter/ sort the results. For instance i tag a single tag ‘DnD’ on a post, it would show higher up on the results list than a post tagged with ‘DnD’, ‘fantasy’, ‘tabletop’,‘minis’,‘#cute’. This would encourage concise taging vs spamming as many tags as you can.
Just my interpretation though, could be wrong.
Agreed. If your employer is happy with your work they probably wouldn’t be using this software.
The problem is you can’t/shouldn’t install the software on a single person’s computer as that is targeting them and against several labor laws.
Moral of my story, don’t be the reason someone needs to install this type of monitoring/software.
I mean… you should be working right? That is what you are getting paid by the company to do. If you are able to get your job done in less than the time/activity needed by the software that’s another issue.
If you are working from home you are still supposed to be working that is your agreement with your employer. Sure do the bare minimum if you want, but you still need to get your job done.
It’s the people that are taking advantage of the work from home that risk it for the rest of us actually working from home.
A lawsuit will take time. But the guy started a go fund me you can find by searching “an ethical whistleblower’s new start” if anyone wants to help him. Looking at the numbers something tells me he isn’t going to be hurting in the short term.
