My best tip for anyone using manual level knobs like these is to remove them full and replace the nut inside with a nylon lock nut. It will be a little bit harder to get back on but once it’s on, you’ll be able to turn it normally, albeit with a little more resistance. The lock nuts will allow you to go MUCH longer between leveling the bed. I maybe relevel the bed on my printer 2-3 times a year and it’s only a minor tweak to get it back to level.

I understand your frustrations. The company I work for was recently acquired and with that came a new health insurance policy. We went from a REALLY good insurance plan to UHC for health insurance and optum rx for prescriptions. It’s utter dog shit. Everything is exceptionally more expensive. Just last week I opted to pay the cash price for my prescription because the insurance covered price INCREASED the bill by $50.

There’s also an issue with uploading pictures. All 3 of the pictures on the above example failed to upload unless I cropped them. Using the crop tool and sizing it to be the original aspect ratio/size does seem to bypass the issues.

I was supposed replace the toilet last Friday but after I had it removed, we decided to quickly paint the bathroom while the wall wasn’t obstructed. As I’m taping off the baseboard, my fingers are grazing the drywall to smooth out the tape and they go right through… Complete mush. Rotted wood behind it. Yay! I was finally able to get a plumber out yesterday to fix the problem pipe. Drywall is completely cut away. Fan is airing it out so I can cut new wood tomorrow and get it all patched up. At this pace, I’ll finally have the toilet replaced by Wednesday.

Buy a decoy belt that only gets used when you’re wearing one of the real belts. The decoy belt can get a wall mounted hook so it’s out of the way when no belts are being warn.
