Cool to see.
I am curious though, does Slackware do anything that other Distros can’t?
Is there a reason to choose it over say Debian or Fedora aside from it being around for so long and the nostalgia factor

The camera on the Fairphone 3 is only okay. But there is an upgraded camera module you can buy from Fairphone.
I’m not much of a photographer so it doesn’t bother me. But if you take a lot of pictures, it’s something to keep in mind.
Vanity, marketing and buying shit unnecessarily.
I have a Fairphone 3 that I got in January 2020. Its a great device. I want to using it daily for between 5 to 10 years. And I have no doubt it will do that.
Meanwhile my brother has bought 3 Samsung devices in that time. And each one still works fine. He doesn’t need a new phone each time but he will still insist on it.
I’m going to assume you are not a troll lol.
Its a frame from Indiana Jones. A movie about an American archeology professor exploring places for ancient artifacts.
In the first movie, he is searching for the Holy Grail but is also fighting a bunch of actual Nazis.
The joke here is that Indiana Jones is an actual professor in these movies. In real life, college professors tend to lean politically left.
Meanwhile, hes beating the shit out of a Nazi. Modern day Nazis adore Donald Trump and so obviously lean far right.
So Indiana Jones beating up a Nazi is like a leftie professor beating up and an Alt Right Trump supporter.
Its not funny since I have to explain it now. But on the 0.01% chance you are not a troll, at least now you know
I mean fuck violence, but also fuck trump supporters lol
With Louis Rossman, sometimes I dont find his videos very interesting. But every now and again he will drop a bombshell that sends waves throughout the industry, and for that, I respect him immensely.
Outside of his YouTube stuff, the way hes so vocal about Right to Repair too. I think its awesome. More power to him.
I think its probably the server being weird. Hopefully it gets resolved soon
Oh for fuck sake.
Fuck Google. I used Waze since it didnt need a Google account and was still reasonably popular in my area.
If I have to use a Google account for this shit, I dont know what I’d do.
Fuck that. Nothing short of Reddit getting rid of its CEO, Open Sourcing their app and canceling their IPO plans would even make me consider using it again. I see a much better future on the Fediverse.
Charge they phone
Not just a girls best friend.
I’m a guy and I’d kill for a functional housing market lol

Can confirm this. Upgraded to .35 today via F Droid and have been getting consistent crashes.
Yeah despite the decent reviews, the always online requirement, plus the fact it is not on Steam, so playing it on Steam Deck will be a pain, mean its a no from me.
Guess I’m not missing much by the looks of things lol
Confuses to, two and too.
Also their, there and they’re
The man speaking in this clip is Nilay Patel. Hes the Editor in Chief at The Verge.
He also used to be a lawyer before moving to journalism full time. So he knows Bullshit when he sees it.
I used to think that The Verge were just a bunch of Apple zealots who couldn’t even do a pc build video properly. They’ve come along way since then. Reddit would be absolutely insane to try and take on something like The Verge.
Side note , Nilay also has a podcast called Decoder where he interviews the heads of companies to get an idea of how they run and what their goals are. Its a pretty good show and I reccomend it. The one where Nilay takes on the head of Substack was hilarious
Thank you for this.
That is fucking crazy. That is basically two orders of magnitudes less than many other social media apps while still having most of the same functions.
Absolutely crazy to me lol
