Excellent album
Lol, my friend is always on the lookout for “pro-life” thrift stores, apparently they have the best deals. (BC)
How many micrograms?
There’s also a small business called tree2table in Chilliwack. The guy has a buttload of sweet hardwood he has milled solely from salvaged logs. Highly recommend checking out his wood supply, if you get more into wood working.
What kind of lumber? I’m from the interior, but have bought lots of non kiln dried hardwood from random small mills in the Fraser Valley. If you’re looking for good quality KD stuff, Windsor plywood has branches in gvrd or there’s Reimer hardwoods in Abbotsford.
Start playing a musical instrument. Works for me
I’ve done several timber frames and refinished a dovetail log home with an angle grinder. You can achieve a flat finish with care, and the time difference over a belt sander is far from negligible. But it is perhaps a bit tricky for a beginner.
I would use a seven inch disc on a large angle grinder. It’s super aggressive, def will be the fastest. A bit hard to control, and easy to have it dig in, so practice where you can’t see it. Your arms will feel the burn after.
I milled the logs cut the joinery at my nearbyish shop, and then transported it to the site for raising. Took a few months, but super stoked with how it turned out
Thank you. The 700000 litres in particular pissed me off… that’s a 9 meter cube. Whoopdie doo
