Any tips for eliminating the stutter, or increasing the smoothness of the emulation? I’ve got an i7-12700k, 4090, and 64GB of ram and it seems to struggle a bit.

The thought of having literally every tool conceivable immediately available without having to move is fantastic.
I’m in love with the concept of laying under my car, while also being able to get any particular tool in my hand, without ever having to get up, or having a little pile of sockets, wrenches, and bolts next to me that I have to navigate by feel.
My wife has an iPad and one of the things I hate the most is that you can’t install adblock extensions into Firefox on it like you can on Android. Which is a thing that has made using the browser on the phone wayyyy more enjoyable.
Won’t someone rid us of this meddlesome judge?
It’s an incredibly hard read. It’s legitimately a graduate school philosophy class reading level. I would love to take that theoretical class and read along/discuss with a group but it’s hard to go through alone.
I’m convinced every “bigfoot” sighting is actually “bear with mange walking on its hind legs”
It definitely sucks. The difference in quality between the pine boards my dad purchased at the hardware store for projects when I was a child, vs the pine boards available now when I get some for a project is NUTS. The number of rings visible on the end has dropped from a dozen or more to a mere handful, they’re way less dense than they used to be.
I fucking HATE buying lumber because it’s an all day ordeal to sort through the stack of boards to find a dozen that aren’t warped, crooked, knotted, rough edged, or missing a corner because it came from the very edge of the log. I almost wish they’d leave an open space next to the stack so I could stick all the trash boards there as I go through them, because only one out of every ten to fifteen is actually usable for anything where precision or appearance matters.
Or you can choose to pay a premium over the already absurd (but appropriate, considering the factors you mentioned) for “Select” grade boards. It’s legitimately difficult to build any kind of furniture type project under what it would cost to buy from a company producing the same thing using an economy-at-scale advantage.
A “buddy cop” comedy movie starring Russell Crowe and Gerard Butler in which they’re firefighters who have to actually, physically fight the fires with their fists.
Text can be ambiguous, if only there were some kind of image that would could reliably it indicate the emotional context of your statements.
You know, like JIF animAted pictures
I mean…it helps that the Switch launched out of cycle with Xbox and PlayStation, and also was $100+ cheaper than the others. Not to mention the advantage of it being portable. Which means someone in the household can play it without eating up a screen, or it can be brought on travel. Mine is indispensable on work trips. It also supports a variety of excellent local multiplayer games - which at least in my house, gets a shit load of use. Smash, Mariokart, Mario party, etc. are on constant rotation.
The PS5 digital is $400. The Xbox series X is $500. The Xbox series S which arguably does something similar to the switch, dropping the insistence on the highest graphical quality, is the only one in either this generation or the previous which compares in price, at $300. (Granted this is actually cheaper than the OLED Switch model, which is at $350).
I desperately wish Nintendo would release their IP on PC, but it’ll be a cold day in hell before that happens.
I feel bad enough when I’m letting the tap run during dishes when it’s taking me a second to scrub something lol
Slowly working my way through Tunic, but which is a pretty satisfying little Zelda-like game.
I can’t for the life of me find the earlier hot pursuit ANYWHERE
On a similar note - I want a remake of mercenaries
This one basically had the same plot as the heist episode of Rick and Morty
It’s an older meme sir, but it checks out
When there’s no refunds in x period but no penalty to reschedule, so you reschedule and then cancel.
Your comment specifically said, “you’re telling us there’s an even more deadly aspect than the radiation” so I’m not sure what you’re on about my guy.
Depleted Uranium isn’t radioactive, really. U-238, stripped of all the U-235 (hence, depleted) is incredibly stable. While it is technically radioactive, it barely registers. So maybe learn what you’re talking about?
Do acid, it’s cheap as fuck, lasts 12 hours, is generally a great time, and will allow introspection about your life
