yea, that was my guess with instances like beehaw defederating much. If i did not plan to move i would have informed myself to how to make an instance and only allowed accounts, no communities or posts.

i think the best thing is that you think about what you want or what would be the realistical “best case” and try to think of solutions

Like: i want reddit the company to die, i know that it is not dying in the next few weeks but i can try to accelerate by giving tips to others to let the butterflyeffect make hopefully at least a little change for what i wish for

i still get the point what OP wants to say but i have mostly memes so i dont really think about it. Even if you “delete” your stuff it gets only marked as “removed”. i think there where some cases where reddit did want the deleted stuff back and reverted it. when i get it correctly the CEO did edit some comments but could revert that back too. Those cases make me feel like that the stuff i post is not mine anymore, but i will try the best i can to make reddit not usable, even if it means being a complete asshole.
