At the end of this week, I will be getting a new game PC. So, I will play:

1. The last of us part 1 remake
2. High On Life
3. Cyberpunk 2077
4. Alan Wake 2 (half replaying it, already played 4 hours on the PS5)

May I ask which ones? I have ‘‘TTV LOL PRO’’ but it does not always block the ads. It’s 50/50.

I so despise that, I always cut it off and get agitated because always leaves some sharpness.

Find a Reddit thread that’s about the current war between Israeli government and Hamas. I’m not going to search for these threads, got enough of Redditors behavior. Just google something along the lines of ‘‘Israel-Hamas war’’ and you’ll find upon the threads, just take a solid minute or two and you’ll notice the comments.

Anything you want from Reddit - use an RSS-feed. Reddit itself is not worth to use at all.

All you currently see is:

• Drama (writing awful stuff to each other).
• Ragebait.
• Terrible memes
• Bots karma farming
• Bots trying to steer political things.
• People cheering on deaths of innocent civilians.

Love the picture but I’m curious why, I still see posts in languages I don’t understand. I have “unticked” all languages that I don’t understand.

Wish Lemmy apps had inbuilt translation like Apollo had.

Surprised it got a lot of backlash. The price increase of streaming service is bullshit while they’re removing sharing password and worse experience for the users.

Though, I saw the same picture on reddit through RSS-Feed. Haven’t checked the comments on that one, I’m curious now though.

I can think of two things;

• Cheering on things such as murder, harming people/ animals
• Karma manipulation

I understand you don’t like Apple. That’s fair. But you keep pressuring your opinion on others (me). You changed topics the moment, I told you, you didn’t understand my first comment.

Was it frustrating? Perhaps a little, I suppose. I don’t remember how much time, I spent. I don’t care either. The service was easy, quick and good. That’s what matters.

When I spend apple money on something I expect it to work.

Indeed. I expected it to work, it didn’t. Unfortunately several times but they replaced the product without any issue. So problems quickly solved.

Life isn’t going to always be in your favor. Have patience and find a solution.

I mean, if you don’t understand that I only paid once and that Apple replaced them freely even out of warranty. And that, that’s why I keep using the AirPods Pro (1st gen) for now.

I don’t know what else to tell you. You can call me an “Apple zombie” if that satisfies yourself. But it doesn’t make sense.

I’m not going to explain myself to a stranger that soft-insult and can’t even give an good argument as to why I should not keep using them while Apple replaces them for free until I decide to purchase different in-earbuds.

That’s because the components inside each little white stick are glued together. Apple could use screws and latches to hold together the components. That way, if something needed to be repaired or replaced, you could easily get inside the device in order to fix it. But Apple doesn’t do this.

So as usual, they purposefully do this. This reminds me of the time with the iPhone battery ‘scandal’ Apple Batterygate.

I really like their Airpods Pro (1st gen), have them for about 4 years now. However not without problems. I had to replace them 5 times because of crackling sounds, muffled sound and broke-bass sounds. This even happend after my 2 years warranty but luckily (and thankfully) the Apple employees are nice people at times. When it happened (twice) outside my warranty, they told me, if I showed them my receipt - They can and will give me a new pair of Airpods Pros.

They told me ‘‘many do not know but there’s a law that forces companies (even Apple) to give a ‘decent product’ to the customer’’.

Not sure if I will get their Airpods Pro 2 (or 3) though after all the hassle.

May I ask the name(s) of these extension(s)? Currently having this issue and that’s why I mainly use MPV to load my music playlist on.

Honestly, just avoid Reddit like the plague. If you really still want to see stuff from there, use an RSS feed (only for the subreddits you want to see).

To be blunt Reddit is full of garbage, especially since the take downs of 3rd-party-apps and the IPO.

Most of the things you’ll see on there are:

• Drama
• Uneducated opinions
• Circlejerk (for karma farming)
• Bots
• People ragebaiting each other
• Mods using their power to be some kind of dictator

It seems like my comment has upset you or at least agitated you, if that’s not the case – it’s the impression you gave me.

I never said that we should ‘’not do everything we can’’; of course, we should. But that certainly does not mean we control everything. No matter how hard you try and how well you manage to maintain both privacy and control, at some point there will be a ‘’leak’’. Not by you but perhaps by your job, your family, friends or acquaintance. There are to many external things to have 100% control.

In today’s era, both privacy and control are truly mere illusions because you can maintain your privacy and believe you are in control, yet somewhere along the way, you leave a trail behind, especially with technology. I’m not sure why you brought ‘’morality’’ into the discussion of privacy and control – because that’s a whole other argument. This post and my comments were merely about these two.

Though, I did not expect my comment to get this much attention. It’s just my personal opinion, you can agree and disagree.

Call me pessimistic, but I do think:

• Privacy is an illusion.
• Control is an illusion (a reference to Mr. Robot).

Certainly, we can do a lot to have more privacy, but it is an illusion to think that we have complete control over it. Especially with social media, jobs, and today’s technology.

r/piracy is mainly active with 3 things

1. Memes
2. Random questions
3. Drama

I, personally, never ask questions on that subreddit. Only viewing for random entertainment or boredness.

Both Piracy and PiratedGames subreddit are the 3 above. If you ask a particular question, you’ll often get randomly ridiculed (for nothing).

I’d just say - post it here and if that really doesn’t work out then try it there. Though out of personal experience this community on here is much (much) more friendly, willing to help and actually get to the point.

This community also had actual discussions and not random shit throwing in the community.

Just wanted to chime in and say that uBlock Origin also blocks Spotify Advertisements through web.

So if you’re okay with the webversion of Spotify, you can use that.

I’ll pirate indie games, see if it like it and if I do - I buy them to support the developer.

Similar with ebooks, I pirate them, read and if I like it. I will buy the physical book to support the author.
