I’m not even ready for December.
I like American music. Do you like American music? I like American music, too.

Americans also don’t use the Imperial System. We use US Customary. The fluid ounces aren’t the same size, for example. But the units have 5ye same names as Imperial units, which is a significant source of confusion.
I’m a waitress. As long as you’re not making a mess, and you’re keeping company with people who are patronizing the establishment, you’re fine. You said you’re filling your own water bottle? Sounds like you’re making no additional work for the service staff, so don’t worry about it.
Well, and specifically, it’s related to the concept of an Indian giver: The warm weather is “taken back” and impermanent.
Sure has! Music and other art media keep getting better. I’m achieving the American Dream of land ownership, a family, and meaningful work. What I lose in health, both physical and mental, I’m making up in richness of experience. Everything has so much more context than when I was young.
We could really use a Pete Seeger or a Woody Guthrie in times like these.
It’s ubiquitous.

This is why you should have three lemmy accounts: One to upvote, one to downvote, and one to do neither.
I only browse subscribed, but I also sub the muni discovery munis.
Sturgeon’s Law: 90% of anything is crap. Better to skim from the top than wade up a from the bottom, I say.

Your question is not clear, post-edit. Can you rephrase?
I also love this calendar. It’s important to remember that “what day of the week is it” is an important question for at least two world religions, though, so months won’t always start on the same day of the week from year to year — but every month in a given year will.
Do we? I can’t seem to find it.
We already have OPs highlighted. They have a colorful box around their name.
I’m not sure lemmy has comment sorting, but I would like that, too.
The song “Letter from an Occupant” by the New Pornographers seems to be intentionally hard to parse, to the point that late in the song they sing “That tune you’ll be humming forever / all the words are replaced and wrong”. But yeah, anyway, I could’ve sworn the refrain starts with “For the love of a Congressman…” and that’s how I always sing along with it.
Interesting premise for an article, but I would’ve loved more depth. In particular, since independents were surveyed, why not include their results?
It’s a pain with markdown.
