It’s ok. I have a physical hard drive that manages to get content somehow and an app that connects to it easily

Property value in most places absolutely sets your taxes, which is part of your monthly mortgage payment
So yes, the principal+interest doesn’t change but when most people talk about their monthly mortgage they talk about the total amount they pay to live in their house that they’re making payments on
Is bribery political donations not a thing in Europe?
Agree on Skiff. It’s like the app keeps reloading like if you used an ereader to check your mail
That 90% of the people who don’t watch sports on Cable TV subsidize it to the tune of 10% of their bill for the 10% of people who watch it
I just hope the stress causes him to have a massive debilitating stroke. Fuck that terrorist
Yeah, I have .world where I first signed up. It occasionally had some issues so I added another that I just mostly read on if the other isn’t working
It’d be nice to export/import subscriptions but I’m sure eventually the servers will get past it
How’s child care? Is that a thing?
In the states you pretty much need a $50k job just to cover daycare for 2 kids. And that’s assuming your spouse covers food, housing, cars, etc
I don’t know how most families afford more than 1 kid, if any, based on salaries/pay in the US
I was going to save humanity but I have a responsibility to a handful of shareholders that yell at me in meetings so… You can really see how hard this is for me
Why the extreme? Cutting back and investing in things that are better should be a mandate, not an idea or option. And certainly we cannot allow an administration to roll things backwards just because someone bribed them donated to their campaign
Revolutions take over where reason stops. The people in power have the means to do the right thing, but sometimes they look out for a few people and will destroy thousands. That’s not a good option, as people get more desperate
Yes but without the part where they tried
I just don’t talk about it
I know it’s not really them anymore. A decade+ of Fox News everywhere they hang out and others they hang out with constantly reinforcing them, I know it’s just a level of brainwashing we aren’t gonna fix
Luckily we can still talk about normal shit because they’re not so far gone that being a conservative nut job isn’t their identity.
And they know how to fucking fix it but don’t want to
It’d be like if in the movie Armageddon the government just said “Eh let’s see if it really will be that bad if it hits us”
I haven’t tried to prove anything. I replied what the data sources were on the chart. It wasn’t a serious comment and it’s not my chart
Excel, Data Source 1 is “Chair pay” and Data Source 2 is “Firefox usage”
If I have to stop reading shitty web pages and stick to maybe places like this and books, I’ll probably be happier anyway
It’s like the evolution of the $x.99 mental trickery. They realize that getting $1 1-2 times a day was much more palatable than $20 a month or once.
I refuse to play mobile trash because not only will I not give in to that shit, I refuse to play games that purposely are made worse because not enough people are paying (and there’s never enough)
They’ve really strongly adopted their new “Do only evil” mantra
Which ironically makes them all look more life like
