Boom, problem solved.
Boom, problem solved.
Looking mighty fine, girl!
I run my printer through a Shelly. That way, I can observe prints remotely (webcam) and kill the power, should software shutdown fail. My Shelly is also set up so that the machine cannot exceed what the PSU is rated at. That would probably not be a good enough measure for a runaway (and melting) hot end once that has started a fire, but I feel pretty calm about the thing printing while I’m at work. I check the camera every half hour or so for print issues or worse.
The thing is: Should all runaway countermeasures on the software side fail, I’d have to be able to see the molten aluminium dripping onto the bed before it’s too late. I figure it’s a risk you have to take if you use a machine that will heat to up to 300° C to melt shit for hours on end.
Steel Panther, before they jumped the shark.
Your grandpa looks like an awesome dude. Enjoy having him as long as it lasts.
No way.
That looks great. Enjoy!
The “Paradeiser” gave it away.
Mountain lion!
Edit: Oh, I’m in superbowl…
Sure, but the way you said it sounded like “I barely made an changes” while you in fact did ;)
Only changes I’ve made
Proceeds to list at least half of the essential parts of their 3D printer.
Bird scientist here. In scientific terms, we say “That lad is proper fucked”.
The Cobra is on my list already. I love pretty much everything Knipex sell, but sometimes they’re a bit too pricey for me for the more rare use cases.
Oh it certainly is.
I’m pretty glad I got myself a Pi 4 for the normal price when it was relatively fresh on the market. I’m tempted to try and get a Pi 5 to replace it and use the Pi 4 for something else at some point. I’m not sure what that might be though, and I feel like the expected scarcity is what even makes me consider it at all. I use my Pi 4 for Kodi on my trusty dumb TV and have recently put my old 3B+ to use for my 3D printer. I’m now left with no spare Pi for whatever might arise.
Will they keep producing them, though?
A friend of my dad’s old PC recently shit the bed and recommended such a ThinkCenter purely by specs and price point. I did some remote setup last night and I got the impression that it was pretty snappy running Windows 10. Such a tiny computer is definitely on my list for the future.
In a store nowhere near you. And not on the interwebs either.
But is socialism really the same as communism?
A lot of free time is great if you’ve got the funds to make it meaningful to you. Unemployment tends to not give you a lot of headroom in that regard.
