Same lmao. Sent me back in time a little bit. I have a sudden urge to play Runescape.

Oh I love that dude! “Nice hiss. Let’s get this out onto a tray.” He will dead ass stop mid chew like, “yeah that’s foul.” Then go back for another bite.
The issue with the biscuits is that the can is very very rusty in some spots. The biscuits aren’t the failure point the can is lol.
I have a big thing of “biscuits” from a cold war fallout shelter. Government one, I remember that much. I gotta go find that thing sometime.
I thought about cracking it open and trying a biscuit, but honestly it was in pretty rough shape. I kinda doubted the biscuits would be edible, and if that was the case I would have just ruined the can further for nothing.
It literally uses and links the image for ‘thin red line for nurses’: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modèle:Début_Rue_Judaïque#/media/Fichier:Thin_Red_Line_for_Nurses_Flag.svg) as part of the map’s legend.
I don’t think it’s meant to be anything even remotely political or even intentional I just think it’s amusing. I have no idea what OP’s take on it is.
I also think a Finnish first aid course accidentally linking something related to the KKK would be incredibly funny. “Oh, right I forgot what the three Ks stand for. Thankfully they have this helpful link to jog my mem- uhhh…”
Well, yeah. I’d argue that’s better than people with certain names being consistently affected.
Didn’t they also used to make paint out of them? ‘Mummy Brown’ was a popular thing or smthn.
The only major thing this infographic leaves out is the differences in subsonic vs supersonic ammo.
If you’re firing supersonic ammo you’re going to get the ‘crack’ of the round breaking the sound barrier no matter what, and it’s always going to be somewhere in the vicinity of loud as fuck.
If you fire subsonic ammo it’s not going to be incredibly quieter… until you combine that with a suppressor, at which point the loudest part of the firearm can actually be the cycling of the action- the US actually requested a .45 suppressed pistol for SOCOM that could have the slide ‘locked’ which basically made it a single shot that was basically silent. iirc that got scrapped because the gun having to sit there static and absorb the force absolutely mangled it over time.
I’m similar, it’s just r/warthunder that keeps me stuck.
There’s a couple lemmy comms for it but they have basically no userbase.
I am a simple dude. I see MCDM, and I upvote.
Also, this reminds me a bit of the Kineticist from Pathfinder 1e. Not a copy at all, just some of the same ideas. Which is cool because I really loved the Kineticist.
I’m imagining a player asking, “laden or unladen?” The not-Sphinx immediately replying, “I don’t remember, but I wrote it down one sec- fuck I can’t read in the dark.”
Really wishing I could do this in my next game lmao.
Being able to block a flair/tag inside a community just like we can block a user or an entire sub actually sounds like a great feature.
I drastically prefer old.reddit for desktop. For mobile, I used Baconreader personally. I wasn’t a fan of either on the mobile website.
From my understanding it doesn’t matter- you can just make your own sub on the spot. There’s not (presently) a limit on subscribers or anything like that.
Yeah, please let me know how that goes. I’m curious.
Are you a moderator for any subreddits? I’ve heard that API access is still a thing if you’re a mod, so maybe that’s why?
Really? I used PowerDeleteSuite myself, but I did it a few days before they locked up the API. My understanding was that PowerDeleteSuit needed API access to work.
I also found that weird juxtaposition interesting.
Ingame, he’s totally chill and reasonable. Outside the game he’s… a fuckin nazi? Huh?
