It’s also on console if you have a Playstation or Xbox. Granted the console version is much more limited since they split the shared galaxy. Fewer options available for some stuff and less global activity both in playerbase and galaxy news. The game does have a story that is continuously going as well as galactic powers you can pledge yourself to and work for to push their influence. Aliens invading. All kinds of shit. But the story is stagnant on console now and isn’t updating. It’s just a status quo. Aliens aren’t invading as an example. They are out there and you can engage them but on PC they’re actively invading systems and needing a coordinated pushback.

I’ve got nearing a thousand hours in it. Was mostly on PS4 until I recently moved to PC. Night and day fuckin difference after the galaxy split. I’ve just been watching The Crown (don’t judge me) and galaxy hopping out deep in… whatever fuckin region is the ‘north east’ rim.

Elite Dangerous! It’s been one of the main reasons, other than work and cat, that I’ve not been on Lemmy as much. Out in deep deep deep deep space doing some exploration runs. It’s like Star Citizen lite but ‘finished’. Massive galaxy that will never be able to be explored. Every star in the milky way is represented, or at least the general number is. Can also be accurately described as space trucker simulator if you’re doing trade runs, rescue runs or passenger runs

Honestly, no. I worked at a call center like 10 years ago but that’s about it. I’m interested in whatever will pay me honestly. I don’t expect to enjoy work, never have. I can pick up anything relatively quickly but I am absolutely and functionally worthless as a human being. I have nothing beyond basic sales/customer service/retail and even that stuff is outdated by nearly a decade. I was homeless for a long time and didn’t get out until a relatively short while ago. Then I was dealing with health issues. Honestly I still am but income support/disability isn’t enough to live off of nevermind fix the problems I have.

I’m just stuck in a situation where I don’t know what the hell to do, where the hell to go and I’m a 30 odd year old dude with no real work experience or anything useful. This is why I’m so desperate I’m making a random ass lemmy post that is 100% going to end with me rightfully being mocked for being a loser.

To be fair, that’s a black bear and they are afraid of everything. They are pansies. They will bluff charge you and if you do nothing and just look at them they get awkward and start wandering off. You can charge them and they’ll sprint too. They just act on bear reputation but if you don’t act afraid of them they short circuit and have no idea how to respond.

Source: Everytime as a kid we went blueberry picking we had to deal with these guys. Same with going to the landfill or hunting.

1. You don’t study forensic psychology or criminal behavior. You have a passing interest in it and are claiming you study it but at most? You have a wikipedia level of understanding. Maybe a Grade D High school understanding.

2. You have no formal training in this field at all as you have repeatedly misused terminology of the field.

3. You’re probably a teenager given the insane amount of spelling and grammatical mistakes littered throughout this area.

4. Hilariously, you do exhibit a surprising amount of narcissistic tendencies. You get angry when people point out your mistakes, you repeatedly lash out in multiple comments instead of one because you’re riding an emotional wave, you repeatedly lie, you try to frame reality in such a way that you can bolster yourself, and you go on extreme emotional attacks when someone refutes you.
