The absurdity of this one is wonderful.
Blue Scholars and Common Market were such a huge presence in Seattle if you were in your 20s in the around 2005-2010. Both bands had DJ/producer Sabzi and he was just straight fire, with talented intelligent MCs flowing over the beats, MC Geologic in Blue Scholars and MC RA Scion in Common Market. Both sounds were diametrically opposed to the shallow vapid hip hop that was popular at the time, and I had thought it was inevitable that they were going to break out big and put Seattle on the map for something other than grunge.
Canadian radio laws force a certain percentage of airplay go to Canadian artists. This thread just proves that it’s doing it’s job! I lived 15 minutes away from the boarder back in high-school and Canadian radio was a blessing compared to what was on the dial locally.
12.5 billion in fraud? Nah.
Stoked that a studio with major credit switched from Unity to Gadot. This will be the biggest release the game engine has seen and is sure to break every record. Hopefully it will make other studios seriously consider the engine and in 5 or 6 years Gadot will be the equivalent to Blender.
Nah man. Look through this thread, or any thread related to Palestine and you’ll see entirely reasonable posts downvoted by zionists fascists.
It’s not about the downvote per se, it’s about the person that does it and letting them know they are seen for exactly what they are.
Username checks out.
This murder was so precise you can still read the marking on roof.
Edit: Hey look a coward let us know their presence by downvoting and not replying. Typical behavior from someone who supports killing civilian volunteers that are trying to minimize a genocide.
This is rad, thank you for sharing. Shoegaze post metal is a new one to me.
I strongly disagree meta’s involvement is necessary for the fediverse to grow and become big. Snowballing is a very real thing and as long as growth continues to happen, that will encourage more growth.
The threat of meta is a huge jump in growth, and communities that then centralize around those users. Once popular communities are established on meta servers, they have control. If they choose to split or defederate those communities on the non-meta side of the fence would be back to square one building from scratch. That is the problem and if we don’t see it for what it is we will be left with nothing.
Layna Sherman Crandell from the MN Anti-War Committee explained, “Zionism requires prioritizing the majority rule of some lives over others, necessitating the dehumanization of Palestinians. Israel is not Judaism; it is fascistic terror. Matsiyahu and the Zionists cannot speak for me or for the Jewish people, and they will not silence the voices of Palestinians in their fight for freedom and liberation.”
Paraphrasing a comment I read:
‘Think of the food supply, we have a surplus supply of food but still people go hungry. Increasing the supply further does nothing to address the underlying issue.’
The issue in South Korea is cosmetic doctors make 2 to 3 times more than those in fields deemed necessary, which the government sets caps on. This means fields deemed necessary are understaffed. The governments current plan in to try and flood the cosmetic labor field to bring down those incomes and force people to work in the needed fields. It’s a stupid approach because they aren’t able to say what the true issue is, and as such will never actually address the problem.

Withholding labor is the only power the working class have. You don’t strike to garner sympathy from fellow working people, if the solidarity isn’t there playing nice with the owning class will not build it.
Appreciate the links!
Appreciate it!
Yeah done mixamo already. That’s a great starting point but I want to learn how to do each step myself for when I need to with non-humanoids.
I found this video which was really good at covering the concepts but generalized to apply to any program. So I am still a bit lost in blender.
29 by Yaeji would be on my list of singles.
For sharing lists I definitely try to prioritize albums that don’t get as much love. Little Simz got alot of critical praise and is probably the exception, but 2021 was a little slow (wonder why…). 2022 however was so amazing, I am still discovering banger albums that I missed on release.
I feel like in the current streaming landscape it can be really difficult to catch new stuff on release. KEXP helps a ton but so much still slips by from my favorite genres. I’ve checked out a few genre specific podcasts and found some great stuff, but if I am in a music mood I don’t want to listen to talking about music and if I am in a podcast mood I usually just want to laugh.
You think CNN cares who wins?
