  • Well… What gives you the ‘RIGHT’ to tell them they don’t have a ‘right’ to an opinion on the issue?? That’s a very disingenuous comment made with a lot of immaturity, to just shut down a point you don’t agree with…

no one gives you, or I, or anyone, a ’ RIGHT’ to opinionate on anything, really… it’s just Human nature to have an opinion on things we know about, have experience with, educated ourselves on, or have seen first hand… to say they do t have a ’ right’ to engage because you feel they are irrelevant, is selfish and dangerous rhetoric…

You really don’t have the ‘Privilege’ to deny anyone the reality of engaging in conversation and to share their opinions… and regardless of where they live, how they live and what they do, you also do not have the personal 'privilege, to know every thing that this stranger knows, or has seen, or has experienced, to make the opinion…

It’s a very nuanced issue and to shut someone down because you don’t think they have a ‘right’ to state their opinions, or engage with conversations. Do you also passionately advocate for America’s 1st amendment ‘rights’? You’re on a post about an American issue, and asking someone who is not American what ‘right’ they have to engage, so I have to assume you are American and do support the constitution… but just because you or I, are American, that does not mean non Americans can’t comment or opinionate on issues we have… the ‘right’ to engage should not be conflated with real ‘rights’ and used as a weapon to silence someone you disagree with…

  • I did! They banned my account after a dispute with a Mod claiming I was being islamaphobic for asking about professor who was killed for supposedly showing a picture of Muhammad (which later turned out the daughter lied about) by a girl’s father who was mad man who claimed Islam. The post was praising Islam for being a religion of peace and anyone who said differently didn’t understand… so I asked about that case… got banned from the sub… argued with the mod, who then reported.e for harassment to the Reddit team and boom, permanently banned, no appeal option… My four year account and 97k karma gone… then they banned my Alt account because of my phone IP address… I was so pissed… tried VPNs too… no good after a while…

Then I googled reddit alternatives, and a few scrolls down, I saw a forum from lemmy discusing how it had just launched as the reddit alternative and to try it… I am glad I did. I like this better… I wish there was more content though… I love certain shows and love discussion about them. Like MTV the challenge or what we do in the shadows… Lemmy is so new, it doesn’t have all those communitys just yet but I am happy to be here and watch the site grow.

  • Just watched the last two episodes last night!

I loved them! That being said, I Am pretty sure that the reason why Gizmo couldn’t turn the whole way WAS because of his DNA and the fact he hasn’t tried human blood. Me and my husband had that theory the whole time. I love that Nandor just knew. I find it hilariously Guillermo, that he can’t hurt people!

I am on the fence about changing him back to human… I’m not even sure Gizmo knows what he wants at this point, but I love the beard on him. Hope they keep that.

Nandor and Patton Oswalt was a good bit, that was a great guest star, also loved the ending with the other celebrity cameos too.

I love the guilde. She is one of my favorite actors. I love that the whole season, she has beet trying so hard to be their friend and it just doesn’t go anywhere. Her character is funny and I hope to see it grow more.

I am excited for next season. I loves this one. No complaints.

That’s not even remotely true… our state has doubled in residency per our recent consensus and that was before all this and it’s still on record for being one of the most traveled to states to move too… we have some of the best state healthcare and are very liberal in women’s health, we back our teachers independence and we don’t exclude parents either… Our state has many issues, but not enough that we are losing residents in mass, especially to the red states…

What you are talking about is the switch… we are seeing like minded people move to like minded places. Conservative from blue states, moved to red states and vice versa for democratic/liberal voters to blue… it’s also quite anecdotal in the end.
