Didn’t realise the ocean ever came up that far - it’s very inland. I stand corrected…The more you know!

Except for all of the salt that isn’t sea salt…
Edit: Apparently many millions of years ago, the salt was deposited by the ocean as the continent emerged, so even though this salt is harvested hundreds of kilometers inland, it is technically originally from the ocean.
Yep, hence the preface. Just offering up an alternative to using software they’re concerned about in case they don’t know they have the option. 🙂
I’m going to assume that by the way you’re describing it, using an excel alternative is totally out of the question or simply not possible, but just in case it isn’t…
If you haven’t heard of it, check out LibreOffice.
I’ll save you a click…
Moments after Donald Trump got walloped with a $354 million financial penalty and banned from operating businesses in New York for committing real estate-related bank fraud, he took to Truth Social to complain about… a 2017 photo that makes him look fat.
For no clear reason, Trump brought the doctored photo, which depicts Trump’s face on an image of professional golfer and Trump supporter John Daly, back into the limelight.
“The Fake News used Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to create the picture on the top left,” Trump wrote. “These are despicable people, but everyone knows that. The other pictures are me hitting Golf balls today to show the difference. Sadly, in our Country, Fake News is all you get!”
He also talked about Sneakercon.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Neat! Very well executed.
Gives me “The Expanse” crossed with “Picard” intro vibes.
In case it’s useful - athom on AliExpress:
athom global Store https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOtoqZ8
Be sure to click on the “All Items” tab - the home tab doesn’t show everything.
Hola :)
I’m not sure how many boxes it ticks off for you, but I’ve been trying to get away from Tuya gear and a friend put me on to “Athom”. Most (all?) of their stuff seems to come pre-flashed with Tasmota and with what I’ve had, it integrates nicely with home assistant (mqtt + tasmota plugin, config the globe and you’re good to go).
I’ve just gotten two of their 15W led globes plus a WS2812 addressable LED controller a few weeks ago, and so far so good with all of the above.
From what I’ve seen I’m pretty sure they have plugs/sockets for a few different countries available, they have in-wall stuff, smart light switches, relays, and pretty sure they do some zigbee or similar as well.
I picked mine up from Ali Express but I’ve seen them on Amazon and they’re probably available on other places as well (eBay, etc).
Best of luck!
Ah that’s great. It wasn’t an option when I had to get it sorted but that was a few years ago. The self-service options in the app are excellent for basic config and troubleshooting.
I have AussieBB and had to give them a call at one point to allow inbound traffic so I could expose my self-hosted server. They flicked a switch for my account and then everything came good.
If you give them a ring and explain what you’re trying to do it should get sorted out very quickly. Their customer service staff are very knowledgeable and friendly - they’re the best RSP I’ve ever had.
Ive been using Pixelfed since late June quite happily. I’ve never used stories, but it looks like they have them if that’s something that interests you:
That’s fair, except I did read the page that I posted which contains details about the harvest site that only mentions the underground source and does not make any statements about the ocean.
Given the article above, and coupled with the knowledge that Mildura is definitely not near the ocean (in this millennium), it seemed reasonable to assert that that the salt was not derived from the ocean.
So yeah, I did read the link that I posted, but it did not mention that the salt deposits literally hundreds of kilometers inland originated from the ocean millions of years ago.
I withdraw my original statement, and hope you have a swell day. :)
