I’d prefer a Culver’s.
I’d prefer a Culver’s.
Bbbbbut both sides…
It’s people like you that make it hard to give legitimate criticisms of the lesser of two evils. They are in no way the same… they may have similar flaws, but one is far far better for us in the short run.
So… three monkeys?
Well, as that was a restaurant not managed by Disney, but through an independent pub owner in their public market area… I kind of doubt it.
Fair, you didn’t explicitly state it. Just implied it with statements about how most people in porn (who should all be adults, unless you’re looking at questionable material) look like children to you. Then make comments about how even the “milfs” are too young.
Maybe it’s not about them being too young, maybe it’s time you accept that you’re old. You’re putting a lot of your own biases into your judgment instead of looking at it objectively.
So… anyone who’s not your age looks like a child to you? That’s kind of fucked up.
It’s not about reducing harm to children, it’s about moral superiority.
I mean trying to help them get treatment instead of going all pod-people on anyone showing even the possibility of being attracted to kids would be helpful.
The problem is if we give major companies a way out, on the off chance that it might have a benefit for the little guy… those major companies end up stepping on the little guy anyway.
So why let them shield themselves from the consequences of their action?
Every article would end up being the philosophy page.
An economic model that doesn’t prioritize profit over everything else… which is what capitalism does.
Let me know if you form an opinion beyond “all the dictators told me that this is what communism is, so I have no choice but to believe them”.
Yes, but capitalism is an economic model that aids and abets greed. Where greed is rewarded almost exclusively.
It’s been a while since I’ve had supplementary procedures, so that’s good to know.
Now I just have to wait for all nine (and a half) bills after emergency services.
Considering how fractured medical billing is these days, often the techs contracted by your in-network doctors office are actually out-of-network.
Isn’t medical billing fun?
Corrupt governments like capitalistic shitbags.
Yes, but those state and local elections have an effect both on how your state and local area does… as well as how those national elections are held. They are far more important than you give them credit for.
Don’t downplay them just because they don’t get national coverage, especially when they’re going to have significantly more impact on your daily life.
The president sure gets the credit for a lot of things (the president signed this into law, the president enacted this policy) but in reality Congress makes most of that a reality.
There is also accountability… but only if the congress acts on it. Which is where that whole “vote more than once every four years” thing comes in. Congress has power… we just have not elected people who use that power responsibly.
If you think you only get a choice once every four years, that’s part of the problem. There’s elections every single year, many of which you have more choice and more power over.
Maybe if people showed up to vote more than once every four years we’d actually see some effective change.
To smash in the parking lot as a form of catharsis?
