All the rest of Europeans, basically.
Mobile application developer, open source enthusiast.
All the rest of Europeans, basically.
The Italian government’s undemocratic decisions have effect only in Italy, fortunately, and nobody in Europe has ever cared about what happens to Italian citizens (since they are not even consider properly civilized people). So the rest of EU is safe, this is just a click bait title.
I am sorry, there have always been issues, especially with animated ones, I’ll investigate into it more when I have a little time.
Yet the political outcome is quite the same: desperate white people voting f@scist parties!
Yes I know. Moreover they didn’t even took the time to list all of them.
The worst possible aspect of open source development.
Could you please tell me what Android version you are on?
No there isn’t any donation tab, I’ll save you the time to look for it! 😉
My compensation consists in all the things that I’ve learned by doing it (about the Fediverse, about Lemmy, about Kotlin Multiplatform and about mobile development in general), the awesome people I’ve met online, and the fun I have when I code.
You remember correctly, there was an “edge-to-edge” mode until some time ago. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your POV if you like immersive mode) Google has decided to enforce edge-to-edge by default on Android >= 15. So you, as a developer, are free to choose whether to comply now or to comply slightly later.
I’ve made some adaptations to the app but probably forgot to apply some inset when the nav bar is present in some screens.
The possibility to ban a word is only available in the “Words” tab of the “Bans and filters” screen but I’ll have a look at it, thanks!
Thanks for reporting, I’ll create ad issue for it!
The application ID had changed after we renamed Kotlin packages, so it was not possible to publish the old app any more.
Hi and welcome to the community (we’ve already interacted on GitHub)! First of all, thanks for willing to help: any contribution is welcome in any form (bug reports, suggestions, beta testing, translation, etc.) no matter what. Even small details matter here and we do what we can in our free time.
Secondly, there are no automatic bug reports (we ruled out using Sentry or Firebase here) so you have to both manually enable the option and then go look in your device’s file manager to a file called crash_report.txt
in your documents directory and send it via email or post its content in a GitHub issue.
If you want, you can join the Matrix room, I can assure it is a very low-traffic place so no risk of message flooding.
Have a nice weekend in the meantime and thanks for everything you already reported! 🙇
I live in a country with an oppressive government who discriminates people based on race, religion, sexual orientation and already blatantly favours the wealthy with total impunity. Nothing can be worse than this.
You are not Italian. Even our government sees citizens as cows to milk, especially if you are an employee and cannot fraud the tax system like everyone else does.
Am I allowed to say that I trust US Big Tech Corps more than my government and my police officers? Meta still is more ethical (even with the DEI programs cutoff and all the rest) than some corrupt governments.
Feel free to report bugs: there is an issue tracker, a Matrix room, an ActivityPub group, an in-app feedback form and an email address to write to. Criticism is welcome, this is a community project so speak up!
Dev here. Could you please tell me:
The fact that you are seeing “hearts” to like makes me think it is < 0.4.0 because now there are thumbs up/down (since Friendica allows disliking too).
Maybe it will happen in some red state too in the future, to prove them wrong.
This is why they had Elkann join the board of directors. He has a great lobbying power in the EU. They know what they are doing at Meta.
With Lemmy 1.0.0 many apps, including Raccoon, may stop working, because the backend developers completely broke compatibility and with not all instances upgrading at the same time this is a recipe for disaster.
