You calling somebody out publicly is entirely to illicit a reaction from the crowd. Surely, a direct message would have been more appropriate for a disagreement over a series of downvotes?
By doing this publicly you’ve definitely made the situation way, way worse than it had to be.
I disagree with bringing in more redditors to this site. I think the community ambassador system is a quick way of creating a bunch of powermoderators on a system that’s supposed to be designed to resist that kind of behavior and centralization.
If you hate being downvoted because of disagreement, why would you want to bring more users who default to that behavior?
I also do not believe you should have any more power or capacity in the fediverse. It’s clear to me by your behavior in this thread that even basic things like being downvoted can set you off and make you decide to try to start a witch hunt.
Reddit promoted “downvote to disagree” and this is a consequence of the userbase having migrated from there.
You can say whatever you want about how it should work, but the bottom line is that most people using vote-based systems are voting up and down based on if they agree with what’s posted. It hasn’t been “downvote for off-topic” for over a decade.

I am not catloaf but I have a problem with people literally combing vote logs to call users out in comments. That’s toxic verging on obsessive.
Absolutely not the way to act as the face of a project. It accomplishes nothing besides making you look incredibly petty and dissuades people from supporting your work.
I would have said Teletoon is a no-brainer to put it on, but they’re owned by Corus/Shaw. I’m so out of the cable game I didn’t even realize Teletoon had been retired as a brand and replaced with Cartoon Network.
I went to go looking at the Bell Media offerings and you’re right, they simply do not have any kind of kids channel. Both YTV and Cartoon Network are owned by Shaw. They likely just don’t want to try to compete in this space, since Shaw would have the rights to basically everything worth airing and streaming.
Whatever happened to Shomi? Wasn’t that Shaw and Rogers’ streaming service? Rogers acquired Shaw a few years back and have the rights to all that stuff now I guess. They put it on StackTV and sell it through Amazon.

It also suggests complete stochastic garbage most of the time. When I type “list” sometimes it will try to infer that I am writing a cookbook and try to autofill to “of ingredients” or even further.
I remember it being one of my favored chosen out of the plethora of random third party devices I had laying around. This was a step above Mad Catz for sure, but definitely still below the original controllers.
This is a Nyko Air Flow controller. I had one for the original Xbox. It was supposed to keep you from sweating during long sessions of gameplay, because it was ventilated and had a fan on the back. To be honest, I don’t remember it being excellent at keeping you cool. I think the fan was pretty lousy, but it was a great gimmick none the less.
I had a lot of weird controllers back then. Some good, some bad. Most of them Mad Catz.
I wonder which Enterprise they would have used. I don’t think any of them are appropriate for Janeway.
That being said, it’s fun to speculate! Was the E blown up at that point? Was it too early for the Odyssey class?
It’s nice to see Janeway in a new whip. The Voyager-A kind of looks like a Sovereign with an Intrepid deflector. Can’t say that I mind the look though, I love arrowhead ships!

I bought this when it originally launched, and unfortunately never really found the time to play a campaign.
We were workshopping a TMP-era story based around a crew serving on a Miranda class vessel. Kind of a “back to basics” sort of campaign. I had really high hopes because Star Trek is absolutely my favorite universe to roleplay in.
I hope a bunch of people pick this rulebook up and have a fun time with it!
If you have a Gen 1 Switch laying around, I would advise you to sell it to somebody who wants to make use of the ability to put CFW on it. They are actually still pretty valuable given the fact that all of the models beyond the first generation are guarded against the exploit that even makes this possible.
If you can only install softmods you will not be able to crack the Switch to install Android on it. If you read the article it goes into detail about how only G1 Switches can actually achieve this because they are not guarded against the Fusée Gelée exploit for Nvidia Tegra processors. It continues to point out how Lites and OLEDs need to have custom soldering done for this to even work.
I have a Lite so I couldn’t even if I wanted to.
If you have an original gen 1 Switch capable of even doing this (eg, not guarded against Fusée Gelée exploit at the hardware level like all subsequent models) you will probably find a better return selling it to somebody who wants to put CFW on it rather than turning it into a hacky android tablet.
I just don’t get what the purpose is though. You’ve lost access to the proprietary primary library, which was the original reason to buy a Switch. If you want an emulation console there are cheaper alternatives as well other than the Deck, I was just using it as the de facto standard handheld.
There’s no benefit to nuking the OS and replacing it on a Switch. At least with something like a ROG Ally, you can make the argument that flipping over to Linux would make the handheld more performant and energy efficient. That cannot be said about flashing Lineage onto a Switch which functionally makes the system considerably less useful.
The Switch OS is already optimized and designed for the hardware. It’s as good as you’re going to get, and it’s also already Linux. I would much rather suggest cracking it to put custom firmware on the device based on the Switch OS; you would get more use out of the device because it could still play the games and be rigged to emulate the older ones.
It’s cool Lineage did this or whatever but it’s kind of a pointless and weird flex.
Why would you want to, though?
It’s not like the Switch is a powerhouse; you’re better off just buying a Deck and emulating.
They made more Voyager, it just also happens to have kids in it.
I think it’s not bad, but it takes some getting over the hump like most Treks. The initial start is kinda childish but once the stakes are laid out and the adults show up, it takes off and is a really fun story over the two seasons.
