This is the first clearly partisan one I’ve seen.
Mostly I’ve seen them as videos that plainly state. “Who you vote for is secret. Whether you vote is public record”. I did get one handwritten postcard saying the same.
I found them mostly “interesting” as a concept, but others have felt they’re threatening:
The first one I saw I looked up the “Paid for by…” entity and it was a Kamala PAC so I just kinda assumed they all were before seeing this.
Both parties are running these style ads in my area.
This is BY FAR the creepiest iteration I’ve seen.

Maybe I’ve missed something but as far as I’m aware he hasn’t done anything to try and stop Voyager; he just didn’t give it a seal of approval.
As a practical matter, I wouldn’t invest any time or money into the guy’s projects anymore not because he doesn’t do amazing UI/UX/App work, but because he is not someone is seems to plan long-term or is advised by anyone who could have told him this would be a problem legally or administratively etc.
I think he absolutely does plan ahead. The fact that he was able to absorb the expense of all the refunds he was forced to issue for subscriptions that extended beyond his ability to access the API speaks directly to that.
Not to mention his foresight in being able to bring receipts when Spez and the other Reddit admins attempted to smear him in the press.
I think you feel more strongly about it than I do, so I’m not trying to change your mind or anything. I’m just adding my perspective.

Our town only has two theaters and only this one has assigned seats. It’s only showing this, that Reagan movie and Beetlejuice. I couldn’t find any seats that had been sold…
However my wife and I went to see Deadpool a week or two ago and the theater was as full as I’ve seen a theater since Covid.
Not sure what my point is?

I think you still have to buy a specific seat if you buy at the theater otherwise it would break the system if anyone did buy an assigned seat after you.
I just checked the 9pm showing and it’s still showing an empty theater 3 min before start.
I finally caught another of the YouTube ads and it was paid for by futureforwardusa.org.
The message, again, was very generic with friendly animation and cheery music. The message was the same. “Your vote is private; whether you vote is public” with the addition of “make a plan to vote”.
