Two nightmares from when I was a child:

1. Earth is suddenly in orbit around Jupiter and it’s filling the sky, everything is bathed in Jupoter-shine light.
2. Earth is visited by human-sized black amorphous blobs that just appear and disappear at random, destroy anything they intersect with, instill abject terror in anyone who sees them.

My take is that, even if it’s fiction, if it inspires someone else to do something similar then that’s a net gain in the world.

Mediocre

It turned out really well in NZ when we legalised it.
