Caffeine is a stimulant and stimulant psychosis is real. I take a very small amount of CBD (10mg weekly) which keeps me from developing eye twitches and, to some extent, I suspect, paranoia. I drink about a liter of light roast pourover every day, lol. I also do Chemex, and those bonded filters sure do suck out a ton of oil, which is not as tasty but gives me a much cleaner feel. I haven’t got the jitters since I switched from Aeropress, which is one step above eating coffee beans whole.

I don’t mean to offend you but a gerbil is not a substitute for a cat. That’s like getting a city-bike in lieu of a motorcycle.
