Agreed. Seems like they were in a super tough spot with that and kind of had to drop it. All the sudden they seem to be doing some new cool stuff to try to keep their edge which I really appreciate / respect. That being said, I’ve dumped them and switched to a service that still port forwards as it gives me better torrenting throughput. Sorry Mullvad.
You are buying access to a VPN not a nuclear warhead for the black market. The link between buying a VPN card and the code used in that card to link to said vpn activity which is also pretty well protected on Mullvad is not easily discoverable. Seems like a pretty reasonable privacy gap to me.

Im excited to try these holders though. I’ve been photographing different items in the kitchen, using photo to stl conversion and making placeholders for things with that technique - so yes, the obsession is real.
Very nice! I have the same locking Rubbermaid lids and I use an accoridian stainless plate holder for them. It works quite well, but this looks even a little bit better and is a perfect unnecessary 3d printing project to add to my list. Assume the medium lids (second shelf down on left) are with the regular stl, not the “big” one? Assume PLA for this? Doesn’t really need to be PETG does it? Agree no supports needed? 15% infill?

Supports are tricky. Use support painting to pick areas that are less visible when possible for support scars. You Can you use prusa slicer with bambu I believe. I find organic supports scar less is many instances. Most straightforward answer is also to try increasing support spacing.

Yeah, probably needs much thinner coat than what I’m used to using on real wood. The velocity painting idea is neat. Might need to try that sometime. I am using image to stl conversion on this profect to create a shallow negative volume that after staining looks very much like a woodburner etching. I almost wonder if I could apply a wood grain to the print itself by having just a 0.10mm offset of a wood grain stl applied to the surface.

Can look at those thank you. Looks like Tinkercad actually does have some threading options and that’s closer to my comfort zone. Appreciate all the great comments here. The more I look into these options, the more I think for the routine, shoot I lost the cap for these gummy vitamins or paint bottle type situations, the more I like my tpu stopper idea for simplicity. There are more variables than I realized on getting a cap to fit it appears.

How do they make it difficult? I know several people that have visited and had no issues to complain of. I was half joking about the Florida thing, just going through the airport there probably wouldn’t be as bad as walking the streets.
Oh man, he’s going to be so disspaointed when he gets home and it’s all just rocks. It’s like the time I bottled a piece of a cloud in Costa Rica and opened it up to just find a slightly damp bottle.
They dropped port forwarding and likely lost a lot of business related to this. They are trying to compensate for the loss I think which is great.
