Absolutely this. The first half of his first book in any given series always feels like it’s going to lead to something amazing, then nothing. I feel like another writer could take his unique ideas and do something really cool with them, but I won’t ever read Sanderson again.
Sometimes I wonder if he managed to wrap up Wheel of Time satisfyingly for its fans.
It has an interesting idea for its world and magic, and then fleshes it out with the most infuriatingly boring set of characters. The main character is bland enough to allow a reader to self-insert to a degree (this is similar to the main character in Twilight — something that people critique it for.) Then some of the supporting characters border on harmful stereotypes. Plus, I guessed the “twist” in the first trilogy very early on.
Aesthetically I want to like it, but I found it awful. I only read it because it was the #1 rated fantasy book on Goodreads at the time, and since then I haven’t listened to aggregated internet reviews for anything.
Any time I see Mistborn on a list like this, I immediately become dubious about the person’s taste and discount the rest of the list.
I highly recommend configuring qBittorrent to only connect to the VPN interface, so if your VPN is off it will simply not connect to the internet at all.

Rnote is currently the best for handwritten notes in my opinion, but its organization is minimal. I have never found a 1:1 replacement for OneNote, but luckily I no longer need it desperately like I did a decade ago.
That’s where I stopped. It was a perfect miniseries. I saw there was going to be a second season and I just rolled my eyes and resolved not to watch it. The first season ended perfectly to me.
The joke is that it contains the letter E, which is banned on the instance.
Sadly, it is. It didn’t get any updates for years at one point, too.
I don’t find the shaping hard at all. I stretch it to the right size on my cutting board, then fold it to a carry-able size and drop it into the hot skillet, unfold it, and put the toppings on.
I preheat my pan on the stove with a little oil, then drop the dough in pre-shaped (folded to make handling easier.) The bottom cooks while I assemble the toppings, then I throw it under the broiler til the top is crispy. If you’re going to do a cold pan, then I don’t see why using cast iron is beneficial. It seems like it would just prolong the time in the oven, especially if you’re only using a broiler element.

Carrier locks don’t exist in my country.
Mine has an expanding battery and is worthless. I won’t be buying this again as it has no headphone jack or SD slot and it’s been really frustrating to use a phone without them.
I also didn’t buy it from a carrier, and it said it was unlocked, so there was no way to know it would be like this.
Which is why I got it, but you can’t unlock the bootloader on mine. I spent hours on this.
The Pixel 2 I got can’t even be bootloader unlocked. Bad choice if you want a custom ROM.
I’ve owned both an X220T and a first generation Yoga. Each has different pen technology, but both worked out of the box on all apps on Linux.
Rnote is a good app for handwritten notes on Linux. Xournal++ used to be the one recommended, but the UI is not great. I still use it occasionally to mark-up PDFs, since I don’t think Rnote is quite there on that feature yet.
Nothing quite compares to OneNote for organizing notes, however, since it has built-in OCR and you can search your handwritten notes. Unfortunately, there is no Linux implementation of it that supports inking. I’ve seen people say that OneNote 2010 works through WINE, but I couldn’t get it running. I also tried an Android emulator to use the Android version, but it didn’t work with my high DPI display and crashed a lot.
The swipe typing on the fork works very well. I would advise people to no be turned off by the “experimental” tag, as I have used this fork for a year with no issues at all.
I usually right click the window in the app bar and choose the “stay on top” option. This issue only happens in Wayland, also. in X11 it stays on top as expected.
