2·28 days agoyou seem to be misreading the message. if you no longer have access to your email account that is linked to discord, what the hell can discord do about it? nothing. so you have to contact the email provider’s customer service to get access to your email account.
this is not just reasonable, it’s the only way it could work. or do you think Google customer service will help you reset your lemmy password?

Running a motor at or near its mechanical limit for long periods is very bad for it and also is less efficient (in terms of fuel economy). That’s why cars are “capable” of 140mph, even though there is nowhere you can actually drive that fast except for race tracks.

when you say something belongs to you, you don’t call it “I’s thing” - you call it “my thing”.
if it belongs to your friends Jim and Bob, it’s “Jim and Bob’s thing” or “Jim’s and Bob’s thing”. likewise, when it belongs to your gf and yourself, it makes more sense to say “my gf and my” or “my gf’s and my”, rather than inventing a brand new word that sounds so very stupid.
