scleral lenses are better than soft lenses since u can put them for 16 hours straight without suffocating ur eyes (eye blood veins need air to function), but with all lenses, u cant use them in contact with water like while showering or something. also high prescription glasses aren’t fun either, maybe bit safer. combination of both would make sense i guess.

i signed up for an account for this exact reason and i am yet to get a response. probably denied membership in hindsight

same struggle with europe@lemmy.ml and europe@feddit.de : the lemmy.ml one is basically dead there. also with finance@beehaw.org and finance@feddit.de: no one is consulting the beehaw one, and on feddit not many are keen on finance, although its a major sub community somewhere else. also i have a feeling that we need to defederate from beehaw (school shootings instance) : i dont want the internet to be a place just about the americans, also the instance’s name doesnt sit well with me.
