Yep. We have a black and white Brother laser printer, and it’s lasted* for at least five years now. Toner is so much cheaper than those stupid, tiny cartridges with not-enough-cyan.
I am me and always have been

I think you have to do what’s best for your people. You have a very particular set of goals with Beehaw, and if the fediverse isn’t the right place for that then it’s fine to move on. I’ll be curious to see what you all decide to do, and, if you do leave, what you end up creating!
I’m on a Mastodon that’s defederated and a Lemmy that’s federated. Let the games begin!
That means that you’re the product
Even after reading your comment, it took me three more tries to see it! Wild.
I just switched to Antennapod, so I don’t have data from this year yet. I would guess my top three were:
In WA state they are nonpartisan, but not really. All that means is, as a voter, you have to read between the lines of everything they say, and as a supporter you spend an inordinate amount of time finding and providing proof of the views of these people to other voters. At this point I would really appreciate a D or R (or L, I, whatever) next to their names.
Barbie, hands down
“They’re not going to care about the details…”
I think you solved your own conundrum. The judicial system could placate Trump and his fans at every turn, and they’ll still whine and complain through ignorance and malfeasance. It doesn’t matter. In the meantime, I would much rather see justice served through thorough, accurate, and fair application of the law. And that’s what is happening here, in beautiful fashion.
Carnivale, Boardwalk Empire, the last season or two of Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife, Marvelous Mrs Maisel. All of those came up on search (amongst many more), and I enjoyed them. Mrs Maisel is one of my favorite shows ever.
Stitcher died?? I hadn’t even heard that news.
Me, too! It’s completely ahistorical, but it’s such a cute concept.
My feed is full of weather, and I ♥️ it.
My lungs hurt from laughing. This is amazing!
I mean, I feel like I’ve been seen, but also called out. 😂 Thank you for all of this info!
Thank you! We’re really looking forward to it. It’s such a beautiful country, and the people seem lovely. My daughter has been learning German for a couple years, but I definitely need to work on mine before we go.
This makes sense, too. I know we borrow a ton of words and phrases over here, especially from our neighboring countries and historically from, well, basically all of Europe.
This is great context, thank you! That would make sense about the comments. The hotel owners were responding to folks, but I admit I was reading through things quickly and could have missed someone identifying themselves that way before the hotel responded.
That’s what you get for trying to have a real life.
