  • Stephen Fry’s reading of Harry Potter is just the best.

On a JK Rowling note. Her Cormoran Strike series (starting with Cuckoo’s Calling) under a different pen name is actually pretty great. It’s a modern day detective series with great personable characters. Very easy to listen to. Despite her crappy views, Rowling’s way of writing is very clean and simple so might fit your brief.

  • My crumpler outpost backpack probably would be a bifl for me. Bought it like 13 years ago and have used it most of those years. Have been daily driver to office, traveled overseas and my main camera back. Bag is versatile and in complete fine condition I love it. I’ve given it a break this year to try out some other bags but it’s one I’ll never get rid of.

  • I’m thinking about the movie going decision and why “scary” movies make money regardless of quality. They might not be good movies. But advertised scary movie means “hey let’s all go see it” to experience the scares together for fun. Whereas this decision to see something they don’t know for the thrill wouldn’t happen as much or at all with other genres.

On your comment I also do think some filmmakers might miss the point on what makes good scary like what you talked about.

  • VI is wonderful. One really good note I heard from an analysis video was the presentation of VI feels and looks more like a play. A diorama playing out in front of you. So the dialogue and reactions is all based around this idea and setting. Because modern ff or most games in fact are told through a more cinematic lens and linear storytelling. This note might help you enjoy the story more I hope.

  • First time using it you export your password data and move it into BW. Then browser extension can help auto fill and detect new ones. It also has a password generator built in so that’s handy

Phone app can integrate and auto fill. On iPhone I’m not sure it if can detect and save. But the few times I’ve needed to sign up on phone I manually input.

I still use Firefox password and iCloud saves when prompted. Doesn’t hurt to have a backup I suppose.
