Isn’t the first issue fixed with Scaled sorting?

Vitesse-Feyenoord (Dutch top league, Feyenoord is in second place). The pitch was shit, Vitesse played like butchers, but somehow Feyenoord managed to win anyway.

Also, PSV (in first place, now ten points ahead) lost their first points this season in a draw against FC Utrecht, so the title race has become a bit more exciting.

I don’t think PSV will give up their lead, but apparently there is a way to not lose against them. Feyenoord and PSV are playing each other on Wednesday for the cup, so that’s an exciting prospect.

For me, it will start feeling “right” about 15 minutes after I start studying or working. You need a while to get into it, to get warmed up.

One of the main reasons I like using Mastodon for work is the fact that it’s completely separate from the large social networks. It’s only used by people who are committed to creating a new, better place. I don’t think users of Threads (or Xitter, for that matter) would have anything to offer for me.

It allows for more precise content filtering. Say you hate Star Trek but you like the people on the Star Trek instance, you can now solve that in one click

Adding an option “Block all users from this instance” would be a good addition, though.

One of the other advantages of LW is that it’s run from the EU and thus has to comply with the GDPR. Given all the shit that Reddit pulled during the exodus, this may have been an additional reason for people to choose LW over one of the North American instances.

I use a Fiio M6 to run Spotify, by downloading playlists through my home wifi before going out. It’s not the cheapest option, but I’ve had it since before the pandemic and it still works like a charm.

The device comes with an app to play MP3s, so that should work easily as well.

There are a lot of Asian female fronted rock bands, like BabyMetal, Lovebites, Gacharic Spin and Asterism. EDIT: also Hanabie.

A lot of symphonic metal bands are like that. On the top of my head, you could check out Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica and Unleash the Archers.

Melissa Bonny does a lot of collaborations with other bands, just search her name on Youtube.

Yeah, the Runeterra universe is awesome! I played LoR for two years, basically for the lore and the art card. I burnt out on the game, but I still miss those aspects.

The release of Arcane was awesome as well, with all kinds of different media experiences. Looking forward to season two (November 2024 D: ).

Yeah, I noticed that too with that image. It seems like Syncs compresses the image preview and only shows the full resolution if you open it from inside the thread.

I think it’s pretty standard in the EU.

Now that you mention it, it does! I really liked the KotOR games, so that’s probably why Outer Worlds clicked as much for me as it did. I did try replaying KotOR a while ago, but I was bothered by how old it felt. I’ve never finished Mass Effect though, so maybe I should. And Dragon Age: Origins is said to be the last “real” Bioware RPG, so that’s also interesting.

It’s just too bad those games are all so old. I’m currently playing Fallout: New Vegas because I’d never finished it and I’m trying to get into a habit of actually finishing games, but the transition back from OW to FNV was quite a shock. It’s not just graphics; older UIs can be really bad. I tried getting back into a game of Fallout 1, but it felt like just playing the game cost way too much effort.

I totally recommend Kingdom Come deliverance, it’s one of my favorites.

That got me very confused as I never had that happening on my Reddit feed.

Same for me, and I never had trouble finding new content. Discovering subreddits (and communities) through word-of-mouth worked perfectly fine.

Also, unlike Reddit, Lemmy has a community browser.
