As to why I’m leaving Lemmy, there’s a lot of reasons, but mostly its because outside of most music subs, there is no positive vibe in the general community to keep me here any more. There’s more to it, but I’m trying to be nice.

The only thing that kept me here is the love for the music. Been a fan of jungle since 1994 and DnB when it evolved. I most enjoy when I get to hear tracks that others share. I keep posting because, outside of Jungle/DnB fans, I really really hope that someone who never heard Jungle or DnB will hear something, like it, and become a fan.

Sweet, I hope they find it. It sucks dealing with those smells, especially in hot weather.

From past experiences, if you give them the general direction the smell is coming from, animal control is usually pretty good at finding the carcass, but if someone else knows where it is, it makes things much easier.

Do you have an animal control department in your city/county? From the places I’ve lived before, they’re the ones that take care of the carcass. Try calling them, it might help.

I tried it before. It worked for me on one small game website for account creation. After that it was more or less useless on any other site. It has a weird focus thing where it’ll try to solve the captcha before you can enter in login details so if by chance the extension works, you’ll fail the login anyways.

It still needs work. I think if the dev can work out those issues it could be great. Until then, it’s pretty much worthless.

This in particular is a Crowdstrike issue. They suck as much as windows. Crowdstrike has had issues on Linux before:

I’m not sure. I tried looking, but couldn’t find anything. I know the yt channel will allow dl but only if you pay a monthly fee.

There are programs, browser extensions, and websites out there that will rip the audio from yt for free, but I don’t use any of them so I can’t make a recommendation. Be aware that some may be shady.

Hopefully someone else will see this and give you a better answer.
