I can’t compare the same razor in zamac and stailess, but the Greencult has a drag that none of my other razors have, and my Karve also drags a bit. Maybe some polishing would heh 🤷

I don’t have much experience with stainless steel or brass razors, but I find that chrome-plated razors slide better on the skin.

But then, you can chrome-plate stainless steel or brass just as well as zamac 🙄

I see you upgraded - buttons in the web interface are no longer in the same places 🙃

Since @djundjila@sub.wetshaving.social used his entire collection of R41s today, I felt compelled to follow suit: I shaved with every R41 that I own (n=1).

Second shave with a DE in a row – this time with better results. I could have made more effort in the chin area, but overall, satisfying closeness.

I checked yesterday, and Arcadia is a soap that I have had since 2022, and on which I haven’t made much progress (just like with Spiced). Only Le Grand Chypre has been longer in my den, but I expect to kill LGC next year. Arcadia and Spiced, on the other hand, I’m afraid that I will have to mention in my testament…

Finally, cursed be the person who designed the Terre d’Hermès after shave bottle 🌩️🌩️🌩️. How difficult can it be? Literally everyone else gets it right – but Terre d’Hermès manages to have such a ridiculously short neck that it’s impossible to dose correctly.

I generally like Rogue Perfumery (at least the 4 scents I have tried) – and somehow, I prefer Bon Monsieur over Mousse Illuminée – it’s a more approachable, more everyday type of scent.

I’ll launch it in a few days, so that we can have a new and better procedure for next time.

Yeah, these are valid complaints.

Next time, I will announce before how much time ther is or voting, maybe something like 48 h?

Also, I’ll check how different ways of counting votes interact with partial votes.
