10 hours agoI’ve never watched day9 regularly but whenever I do it’s a joy. he seems to be a great guy indeed, and afaik never has been in any kind of YouTuber/streamer drama or anything.

yeah ads famously criticize the product and talk about how dangerous it is
if you think it doesn’t work on you, it’s more likely to work on you. if it didn’t work the world would be a much better place, but unfortunately they definitely work.
but i agree it’s stupid especially as a business model and it shouldn’t exist.

corporations are people when it comes to “free speech” (read: political bribes) but they aren’t when it comes to accountability. this is what happens when you don’t treat corporations like people and fucking jail them for shit like this.

clearly op doesn’t think this behavior is right, as they’ve used it as an example of “the worst monster of all”, but the confusing part is why and if anyone would ever even do this. it would have worked better if the person picked one way or another; at least it would have been a statement on op’s part.
fyi the right way is to put it over, unless you have a cat, then you’re allowed to put it under without penalty or shame.
of course they’ll keep it up. it’ll even have extra content, like multiple currencies, battlepasses, seasons and XP boosters.
I’m sure EA will do it justice
